Announcing our New Editor

Anglican Compass is glad to announce its new Editor: The Rev. Jacob A. Davis.

Jacob is a priest in the Anglican Diocese of Christ Our Hope and serves as Assisting Clergy for Pastoral Care at Grace Anglican Church in Louisville, KY. Since 2020, he has also worked in Web Development with LimeCuda.

A graduate of Reinhardt University (B.A. English, 2006) and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (M.A. Theology & Arts, 2010), Jacob counts Anglican Compass as a central part of his journey into Anglicanism. As a lifelong artist and storyteller, Jacob loves to explore the intersection of Christian faith with art, creativity, and beauty.

Jacob Writes:

“Given my long affinity for Anglican Compass and my background in writing, editing, the arts, web development, and Anglican ministry, I feel God has tailor-shaped me for this opportunity. I bring to this role a commitment to the Anglican Compass philosophy of clarity and charity and a heart for serving others with excellence in the spirit of service to Christ.” Jacob Davis

“I am thrilled to welcome Jacob to the Anglican Compass team as our new Editor and grateful to God for giving Jacob precisely the skills we need at this time. To our supporters, thank you for making this hire possible! As I transition day-to-day management of the site to Jacob, I look forward to continuing as Ministry President, in which capacity I will provide strategic vision and network development.” – Peter Johnston, Ministry President

“Jacob has been a wonderful member of our team, contributing a unique perspective to a wide variety of our web projects. We’re excited to see his variety of giftings applied to benefit others and the kingdom on this new journey.” – Blake Imeson and Josh Mallard, lead partners at LimeCuda Web Development
