Safeguarding vulnerable children, youth, and adults.

During the virtual gathering, we’ll be discussing safeguarding vulnerable children, youth, and adults. Topics include:

• Equal access for obtaining and understanding safeguarding information to be equipped to make appropriate actions.
• Structures for safeguarding: Provincial, Diocesan, and local church.
• Exploring what is meant by “vulnerable person” and providing appropriate services and pastoral care.
• Empowering children, youth, and vulnerable adults through appropriate education and training.
• Understanding boundaries through making implicit communication more explicit for clarity and understanding.
• Respecting private medical information and maintaining the dignity of vulnerable people.
