146th Diocesan Council 2026
Diocesan Council 2026 will be held at St. Stephen’s Anglican Church in Eldersburg, MD on Thursday morning Nov. 5 for Opening Communion, brunch and afternoon sessions as well as Friday’s prayer, teaching and business sessions.

All clergy are invited to vest for the opening service of Holy Communion on the first day of Council – white stoles.

The opening Service of Holy Communion for the 146th Council of our Diocese will be held on Thursday, November 5 at St. Stephen’s Anglican Church in Eldersburg, MD. Registration begins at 9:00am and the service at 10:00am. The Rt. Rev. William Jenkins will preside. Clergy are invited to vest and wear white stoles. Following the service we will join for boxed lunch in the auditorium, then continue for afternoon business and teaching sessions. Dinner is on-your-own.

On Friday morning there will be a Morning Prayer service in the sanctuary before the morning teaching and business sessions. Council expects to conclude between noon and 1pm; lunch is on-your-own.​​

REGISTRATION

The Registration fee for Council is $65 for all delegates, clergy and laity, and full observers. This includes the cost of buffet lunch and meeting breaks. We will use the EventBrite payment website to collect fees and organize delegate information. An extra option for Non-Voting Lunch-Only attendee is for those who will not be staying for any Thursday afternoon or Friday morning sessions.
