Anglican Center of Theology and Formation: Fall Lecture
THE VERY REV. CANON DR. ASHLEY NULL
with THE REV. CHUCK COLLINS
Our December lecturer is an internationally respected scholar on the grace and gratitude theology of the English Reformation. Author of Thomas Cranmer’s Doctrine of Repentance, Dr. Null’s current project is editing the theological notebooks of Thomas Cranmer, a five-volume project with Oxford University Press. An ordained priest, he serves as a frequent lecturer at seminaries and churches throughout the Anglican Communion and as a chaplain to elite athletes and coaches. His Friday evening lecture is entitled, “Transformed Desire: Scripture and the Affections in the Anglican Fonnularies.” Dr. Null will provide a seminar on Saturday for ACTF students, area clergy, and registered guests.
Fr. Chuck Collins served on pastoral staff at Christ Church Anglican in Phoenix after serving as Rector of churches in New Mexico, Texas and Florida. He has written extensively on Reformation Anglicanism. He will moderate the question-and-answer session following the lecture and participate as moderator and panelist during Saturday’s seminar.
The public is welcome to the Friday lecture and Saturday seminar (with RSVP). A freewill offering for ACTF will be collected.
