Announcing Our New Events Page: Connecting the Anglican Community

By

We are thrilled to announce a new addition to Anglican Compass: our Events page! This exciting feature is designed to help laity and clergy discover events happening across the Anglican Church in North America. Our goal is to provide a centralized, convenient resource for staying informed about the wide variety of events that enrich our Anglican community.

Why an Events page?

Until now, there has been no unified place to find information about Anglican events. Each diocese and parish operates somewhat independently, which can make it challenging to stay up-to-date on whatโ€™s happening across our province. With the launch of our Events Page, we aim to bridge this gap, offering a comprehensive calendar that brings together events from all corners of the ACNA.

What Can You Find on the Events Page?

Our Events page will feature a broad array of activities, including:

  • Conferences: Gatherings that bring together Anglicans from various regions to discuss theology, ministry, and community.
  • Diocesan Synods: Annual meetings where clergy and lay representatives discuss and decide on matters affecting their diocese.
  • Parish Special Events: Unique happenings at individual churches, such as festivals, outreach activities, and community celebrations.
  • Seminars: Educational sessions that delve into specific topics of interest within the Anglican tradition.
  • Training Sessions: Opportunities for clergy and lay leaders to develop their skills and knowledge.

How You Can Contribute

To make our Events page as relevant and useful as possible, we need your help. We are currently reaching out to dioceses and parishes across the ACNA to gather information about upcoming events. Hereโ€™s how you can assist us:

  • Submit Event Details: Share information about your diocesan synod, conferences, special parish events, or any other noteworthy activities.
  • Provide Promotional Material: Send us images, posters, or promotional pictures to enhance your event listing.

Get Involved

We invite you to visit the new Events page and explore the wealth of opportunities available. Whether you are looking for ways to deepen your faith, connect with other Anglicans, or engage in ministry, our Events Page is here to help you find what you need.

A Collaborative Effort

This new feature would not be possible without the collaborative efforts of our diocesan and parish partners. We are grateful for your support and excited to see how this page will serve the Anglican community. Together, we can ensure that important events receive the attention they deserve and that our community remains connected and informed.

Stay Tuned

This is just the beginning. As we continue to gather and post events, we look forward to expanding the reach and impact of our Events page. Please check back regularly for updates and new listings.
