At the Cross Book Tour

Book Tour: Across the Web with AT THE CROSS by Justin Clemente

By

Ever since the Lenten publication of At the Cross: Reflections on the Stations of the Cross, Fr. Justin Clemente has been busy making appearances to promote this valuable new book, a collection of meditations on the Biblical Stations of the Cross.

I’ve taken the liberty of collecting all the public links to his various appearances in one place for the convenience of our readers. I’ve also included some positive reviews from the book’s Amazon page. I hope you’ll be inspired to read Fr. Clemente’s book yourself or share it with a loved one!

All of these reviewers gave the book 5 stars on Amazon. This almost sounds too good to be true, right? I suppose you’ll just have to read and review the book for yourself!

5.0 out of 5 stars God’s truth

A celebration of God’s truth in His Word.

Includes lovely images to draw you deeper into God’s story. What a wonderful way to grow in the knowledge and understanding of the things of God. Thank you, Justin for this lovely testimony that points us to Jesus and the gift God gave us in sending His son.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great resource and well written!!

Phenomenal book. I’m new to the tradition of the Stations of the Cross, but this book blew me away. It’s well written and references Christian writings from the Early Church and first centuries, to theologians, to beautiful hymns, and well-known authors. This book will be a great tool to use in weekly reflections on the Passion of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and potentially a daily tool to use during Holy Week. Highly recommend this to people who already familiar with the Gospel or tradition of the Stations, all the way to people who have never heard of Christ. Great book and resource!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent book!

This book has been a blessing in my Lent journey. With the use of art and Scripture, Pastor Justin does an excellent job of breaking down each station, providing prayers, Scripture passages, and thoughts from theologians and Church Fathers. This book will guide you well in your Lent journey, as you reflect, meditate, and pray on the Passion of our Lord Jesus Christ, as we look forward to Resurrection Sunday on Easter!

5.0 out of 5 stars Meditations for Easter

The 14 meditations on the Biblical Stations of the Cross featured in this book fostered a deeper appreciation for what Jesus did for me. Highly recommended!

Have you read At the Cross yet?

This many people can’t possibly be wrong, can they? In all seriousness, Fr. Clemente’s book was a labor of love for the Anglican Compass team, and we want as many people to be blessed by this book as possible! I encourage you to order a copy and add your own review! The story of the passion of our Lord isn’t just for Holy Week after all, we celebrate the perfect sacrifice of Christ, once given, at every celebration of the sacrament of Holy Communion. Come, seek Jesus at the cross, and be blessed.
