Dominical Sacraments are those explicitly instituted by Christ in the Gospels, i.e., Baptism and Holy Communion. Anglicans retain the other five of the seven historical sacraments as Sacramentals or “Sacraments of the Church” and blessed by God, though not in the same essential way as Baptism and Communion.
