Cascadia Diocesan Women’s Retreat

We serve all women in the diocese of Cascadia through our annual retreat. We value this time for connecting in worship, fellowship and discipleship.

Registration is open now!

Join us this March for a Lenten Retreat! Our theme is โ€œAbiding with Christโ€ and our speaker will be guiding us through different spiritual disciplines and practices, inviting us to remain rooted in Christ. We will have ample time for rest, reflection and connection. We look forward to retreating together!

Scholarships are available. For questions about scholarships, the retreat, or the CWU in general, please click the โ€œContact the CWU Teamโ€ button near the bottom of this page.

Getting To Know Our Speaker:
K. C. Ireton

K. C. Ireton is the author of several books, including The Circle of Seasons: Meeting God in the Church Year, A Yellow Wood and Other Stories, and a novel (forthcoming from IVP in 2026), as well as hundreds of essays, articles, and blog posts. She holds a Master of Arts in Apologetics from Houston Christian University, where she studied literary apologetics and wrote her thesis project on Christological imagery in the stories of Hans Christian Andersen. She publishes short liturgies and fiction on her Substack publication, Evensong Stories (kcireton.substack.com).

K. C. lives with her husband and their four children. She is a founding member of the Seattle Classical Co-op, where she teaches Bible and literature, and a lay preacher and catechist at Holy Trinity Edmonds. When sheโ€™s not hanging out with her family or playing around with words, you’ll probably find her curled up on the sofa with a cup of tea and a good (probably old) book, taking a long walk in the woods, or pottering in her garden.
