Synod, as defined historically, is a gathering of the leaders of a Diocese, both ordained and lay, who prayerfully consider in God’s presence the important matters that are before the Church. In a Synod, one may expect to be inspired, encouraged, taught and trained for more effective ministry through the Church.

The Synod of the Diocese of Western Anglicans consists of:

1. Clergy Gathering & Clergy Spouse Gathering, October 23-24
2.  Clergy and Laity, October 24-25 (Evening of the 24th, day of the 25th)
