Lent
Lent is a season of penitence and fasting leading up to Easter. During these 40 days (excluding Sundays), we are reminded that sin has cursed us to death, and we practice repentance. Then, during the final week of Lent, Holy Week, we remember Christ’s entry into Jerusalem and his Last Supper, trial, and crucifixion.
